I can't run the IDE

Sooooo, I can't compile any sketches, because even if I reinstall ALL arduino stuff, AND erase the Arduino15 folder, I get this long horrible error message. Im using a mac, dos anyone know a fix for this?

  • Save the error in a .txt file.
  • Click the "Reply" button on this forum thread.
  • Click "Attachments and other options
  • Attach the .txt file.

I can't write a new sketch or edit one of the downloaded ones with the arduino IDE Seemed to have somthing to do with the visunio program I installed
I can make programs with it and download them to my nano board and they work. I just can't open the IDE software and write a new sketch.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Do this:
File > Preferences > Use external editor (uncheck) > OK
