i'm using 64 bit jaunty. tx&rx light up, but thats about it and no programming happens. i tried resetting it.

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
5.5-7 package is installed, should i be using this one? : avrdude-5.4-arduino-0010-src.tgz from the Playground?
