I don't want to Press "Enter" after every Command

I was wondering if there was a way for the arduino to read commands read from the terminal in real time without having to press enter every single time?

I want to control an object quickly, and pressing enter is plain irritating. Any suggestions.

Just use any of the 123 teletype programs you like best... Even Hyperterminal works :-)

Just select the COM port and the speed (and NO handshake). You can then store that profile and simply start it by double clicking.

I’m familiar with how handshaking works. Just don’t know exactly where changing that setting is.

When you start Hyperterminal you are FORCED to tell him something about it! It is the downmost field in "properties".
