this is how the IR sensor will detect the blink. this is exactly what my costume is going to do except this one uses regular nanos while i want mine to use a modified servo tester.
this is what his final product does and how it works. the servo sweep will work but it will look wierd cause it's in a constant motion making it look like he's trying to itch his eyes. so i will not use the servo sweep. this whole project i decided on because since you have 2 of everything, you can blink the eyes, or have each of them individually blink!
ya that knob is a potenchiometer.
from google:
"IR detectors are digital out - either they detect 38KHz IR signal and output low (0V) or they do not detect any and output high (5V). Photocells act like resistors, the resistance changes depending on how much light they are exposed to."
will an IR sensor work in place of potenchiometer on servo tester?
this video shows the functions of the servo tester. it doesn't need an arduino to work nor is it compatible. the whole little servo tester unit works on its own. no programming required!
i have skipped the past 2 halloweens not going trick or treating because i was doing a whole lotta reasearch on this finding out different methods. what other ways do you seggust to power the IR sensors to move the servo with an easy piece of circuitry that isn't faulty, has easy to read easy to learn code and has little to no components that won't blow out? what other boards could do the same but are not as difficult?
hahahaha funny! how would that work? how would that control the servo with the IR sensor? great idea though! once i find out how it works, if it works, i'll DO IT!
it's funny because i've never seen that work like that before! it's wierd! but can you tell us how this works and how to use it for this so i can do it as we have quite a few USB power banks, some that don't charge are phones that are junk! i need to know how this works first! it would be very interesting to know!
yeah i know but can you tell me how this USB power bank will control a servo with the IR sensor? i'm curious to see how it works if it does as nothing on google is pulling up related to this. i'm gonna have to skip trick or treating this year because of COVID and cause my whole costume (head, body, and feet) won't be done in time. if you tell me how this will work and i work on it the head will be done at least.
