I found an Epson printer lx 310+ with fantastic good shape, when I tear down Oh found inside these steppers motor just was watering my mouth what can I do. So I decided to make a plotter. So you think is enough to use the uln2008 for this motor??
I think these are 48 steps per rev 2 phase bipolar motors with 4 wires, I don't think the uln2008 would be suitable. Consider a4988 or drv8825 or drv8834 instead. They may not be capable of microstepping very well, 48 steps per rev is quite coarse for a plotter.
