I have a 2 digit 7 segment display with 18 pins. How to connect to the arduino uno and the cable diagram?

Can I ask for a cable diagram of the 7segment display 2 digits 18 pins to the arduino?

The pins should be labeled. With only two digits and 18 pins, you might see SEGA through SEGG twice, two COMA pins and two COMC pins. Post a picture for a better answer.

Before you can hook up the display, you need to figure out its pinout and if its common anode or common kathode.

To do this, you can use an arduino and a resistor.
Connect 5v to a 1k resistor. the other side of the resistor is your test pin 1.
Test pin2 connect to GND.

Now connect your test pins to the display to ever pin and write down what you see.

This is one possible pinout:
IS211-2_300

Please, show the picture of your display device.

Can I request a wiring diagram of a 2 digit 18 pin 7 segment display to arduino? for my school assignment

1. To receive such a connection with Arduino UNO, please post picture of your 7-segment display devices. It is importatnt to know if it cc-type ot ca-type, and if you want dedicated connection or multiplxed connection

2. You think the following diagram (Fig-1) will be helpful for you?

Without a pinout the wiring diagram will be wrong.
