I have a surplus of LTC-8706HG displays

I needed to repair a couple of temperature controllers at work, the LTC-8706HG is obsolete and I was unable to find a direct replacement. I managed to find some original lite-on parts at Derf electronics in the US but they had an MOQ of 50.

I only needed 2 and will keep a few spares so I have 40 of them that I have no need for, I thought about putting them on ebay but I wonder if you guys know of a better place more suited to electronic components for hobbyists? They are incredibly simple to use so I figured someone might like them to play around with in an arduino project or similar. I'm not looking to make a profit, I just want to sell them for what I paid to reduce the cost of repairing my controllers.

There is a datasheet from lite-on here, I wonder though if selling them will be an issue as they are not RoHS compliant.

You could sell them on eBay. How much per display?

There is no issue with selling non RoHS components. Why you can still buy mercury switches from major distribuitors.

Isn't RoHS more of a Lead thing?

OutofSight, are you in the US?
How much for a couple mailed to the Boston, MA area?

Isn't RoHS more of a Lead thing?

No lead is only one of the six substances that are banned, although it seems to get the biggest press.
