Hi All

A few pointers to get me started would be great.

I want to build my own fuel flow sensors interface that can output to the NMEA2000 network protocol.

I can get the pulse flow meters but would like to make the interface myself.

As I need it for a diesel engine I would need 2 flow meters as there's a return flow to tank....
So the interface would measure total flow minus The return flow and then output to the NMEA network Engine usage flow..

My experience in Arduino is Nil

However many years ago I did Pic/eeprom building/programming for radio projects...I dont know if this helps but I can only try...

Help/ideas much appreciated Phil......

Post a link to the datasheet for the flow meters you propose to use.

An Arduino should have no trouble counting pulses from flow meters.

I presume you know what format your output data needs to take. Can you provide an example?
