I have no idea how to change the arduino uno rev r3's smd LED

hello! My arduino uno rev r3 board's l, RX LED got broken and I need help for how to replace it.

You will need a small soldering pencil suitable for SMD work, and some solder paste. Hot air gun works too.

There are plenty of tutorials on line showing how to remove and replace SMD parts, and hobby outlets like Sparkfun and Adafruit have excellent soldering tutorials.

is there a company where you can replace smd LEDs?
(because I don't have any tools for replacing Smd LEDs)

It will probably cost you more to have someone replace the part than to buy the tools. Unless you have a friend with the tools and skills.

Ifit never has worked, then it could have been placed the wrong way round.
If upload/printing still works then forget about it.
It's only an indicator of USB trafic.

oh, thank you for your participation.
I guess I will have to learn more to replace SMD LEDs.

It started to go wrong. (It's a arduino official board so it came soldered )

I looked on Amazon, and this solder pencil has the required tips, temperature control and very low price: Amazon.com: Soldering Iron Kit, 80W 110V Fast Heat up in 10s LCD Digital Adjustable Temperature Soldering Gun Thermostatic Soldering Kit for Electronic : Tools & Home Improvement

How do you know the problem is the LED?

thank you! I willtry to replace the SMD LED by myself using the soldering Iron kit!
Thank you to everyone who participated the chat

I know that the problem is the LED because the L, RX Led's power indicator indicated that the voltage was going correctly but the LED didn't light up.

thank you everyone!
thank you for your participation

I assume you know it only flashes during USB trafic, so is off most of the time.
Leo..

Hardware serial comms.

See if there is a Makerspace in your town, the people there can help you.

Cellphone repair has all the tools and skill.

thank you everyone!

Note that having a working RX LED is not "necessary" for the Arduino to function properly in other respects. It's strictly for user feedback...
