I just got an Arduino R4 wifi and i got an error

Using Arduino Avrdude, stk500, Bootloader issues

so i wanted to test the led matrix and after that every code that I enter is giving me this error

Cannot perform port reset: TOUCH: error during reset: opening port at 1200bps: Invalid serial port
No device found on COM5
Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1

Is your board connected to another com port?

no. Also the led matrix is still working

it just went away right now. But i have a question, how to stop the board to run the code?

I'm afraid that I have no idea what "how to stop the board to run the code" means.

Unplug it from all power sources, or modify the code to add a shutoff switch.

I'm not familiar with board.

  1. Keep the reset pressed.
  2. If the board has native USB, double tap the reset button; this should start the boot loader (for approximately 8 seconds) during which the board does not run your code.
