I need a library written for LeddarVu8 Sensor

Hi Guys,
I am not sure if this is the right place to request this but I need help or would like someone to write a library for me for the LeddarTech LeddarVu8.
The only one available at the moment is written for the SPI interface.
The model I have uses the Modbus protocol to communicate through a RS-485 shield. The shield is a generic one with eh MAX485 chip.

I have been trying to get it to work but I am no expert and are running out of time.

For someone who does this all the time it would probably take you an hour and be easy to do.
All the info is in the User guide I just don't have enough experience with programming to make it work.
I can do all the basic programming and edit existing code and make it work but not from scratch in a short period of time.

I am happy to pay you a set fee for your time but it needs to be running fully.

Please let me know if you can help. I need it done asap so please only reply if you have the time to look into it now.

You are more likely to get help if you don't make us wonder what the hell is a "LeddarTech LeddarVu8".

A link to the user guide you mention wouldn't hurt either.

I don't suppose those things are cheap - you will probably need to provide one to whoever is going to work on a new library for you.

I could possibly write such a library (wrote and helped for several libs before).

  • When do you need it?
  • Can you post a link to the SPI library?

I need additional info to estimate how long it would take to write such lib (incl testing etc)
