Are you sure that's a 1284P? Surface mount 1284 only has 44 pins, that looks like a lot more.
I have mega1284AU - 44 pin

AU 1047
arduino 0x1902 is defined

Okay, you need to create a new entry in your local copy of ardude.conf with the signature bytes for the non-P version of the 1284.
Then create a new entry in boards.txt for that part.
Should be good to go after that.
