I need help selecting a more efficient H-Bridge

I am making a small robot that is driven by two DC motors. I am using the sn754410 by Texas Instruments. It works, but seems to be really inefficient. The output voltage to the motors is almost 2v lower that the supply voltage to the IC. Does anyone know of a more efficient, but still small, H-Bridge? Or maybe a way to fix this?

You might go to sparkfun or pololu to see what they have that is small with low voltage drops.

You need a MOSFET H-bridge, not a Darlington one. Pololu.com?
