I need help to reverse engineer this lcd

Hey! I got lcd from Sierra Wireless ac762s, but it has very weird connector. It has some kind of controller on it, at the base of the cable. It has some markings on it, but i can't find anything from google. On the cable: FPC8797AF-V1-C. Back of the display: 8797AG120601T (h is also marked and 68 wrote there, maby some kind of id from factory). The connector has 23 pins, and they are at the same side, some kind of interleaved. I would like to use it with arduino/raspberry, but i have no idea what kind of protocol it uses.

Reverse engineering is best using test equipment such as an oscilloscope and probing a working system. It is not something that could be done without a lot of testing, logging waveforms and analysing the results. So I doubt anyone will be able to help via forum communications.

What is the reason on why you want to reverse-engineer the LCD?

If it's to reuse it, forget it. You could use MANY hours to figure out what controller it employs.

A similar display with breakout-board you can connect to, can be had for $10.
