How do I fix this?

by giving us more information about your board, circuit, computer, OS, and the result of the documented tests to do when this happens...

Verify your IDE has...
IDE >> TOOLS >> BOARD >> AVR BOARS >> your board
IDE >>TOOLS >> PORT >> your port
(and if you have a CH340 Nano)
TOOS > PROCESSOR >> OLD BOOTLOADER

And try again.

My board is a Arduino uno (clone) and im on windows 10 (laptop)

I have a clone Arduino uno

Does windows detect it when you connect the USB cable?

Yes and I already installed ch340

so what about the IDE settings?

please don't force us to extract all the information one by one...

Verify the "old bootloader" setting.

Wdym by the ide settings, sorry im really new to coding

How?

That’s frequently either the wrong board specified or a wiring error of some sort. So far I don’t think you’ve told us what board?

Have you now followed the checks advised in post 3 by @xfpd ?

which version of the IDE do you use?
which board did you select?
which port did you select?

Arduino UDE 2.3.2
Board selected is Arduino uno
Port selected is COM4 Serial Port(USB) it is where my Arduino is plugged

Board is Arduino uno (clone),the only problem is the upload error. And yes I've followed his advise

show us a picture of the board

is there a programmer selected in the tools menu ?

Verify one more setting... IDE >> TOOLS >> PROCESSOR >> OLD BOOTLOADER

There's no processor option here

He has a uno, not a Nano.
