I need help using a button to switch LEDs from "Twinkle" to "Knight Rider"

I'm new to using Arduino and I had a project idea that needed 10 LEDs to twinkle randomly but when you push a button (or flip a switch) they flash like the knight rider car. I have both the codes for the twinkle and the knight rider but I don't know how to integrate them together and a button into this. For all I know it might not even be possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm truly lost. I looked on google and it must be too specific of a request to have it on there. Thank you for your help!

Then simply do a digital read on your switch pin and use an if statement looking at the result to call the loop1 or loop2 function.
