I've got an assignment to make a kind of a guessing game to the arduino. The instructions are: You shall make a function that turns on a LED 12 after a predetermined time. The meaning with the game is to guess how long time its been. The first time is 30 sec, the second is one minute, the third is 1 minute and 30 sec and the fourth is 2 minutes. If you guess the time right within 2 seconds it counts as a win and the green RGB diode will turn on. If you guess to early the blue RGB diode will turn on and to late the Red will turn on. To start the game press the button conected to D2 and to guess press the button connected to D3.
I am new to programing and dont know where to start. Any help is appreciated.

Start here, I reckon.
Then when you have a base to start from, try write the code for the assignment.
Then come back and ask for specific help with "this" or "that" aspect.
PS, the way that reads, it seems to me that they expect all 3 of the r, g and b to be on pin 12, which of course cannot be.
...unless the RGB is a serial device, like a WS2812
That never occurred to me, since I've never even seen one of those, so you may be right.
Real question is, why is the OP attempting an assignment for which it seems he or she is not equipped. (Always assuming he or she went to class (be they physical or virtual) and did the tuts and labs....)
