I need to Read upto 100v Dc battery voltage. (via arduino)

Hello,

I need to ready DC battery voltages but they are connected in series and make upto 100 volts and the batteries are 200 amp/hour each.

I need help here please guide me to a safe and accurate way to read these voltages.

Regards

A good multimeter will easily handle this.

Make sure you set it to read DC voltages.

will it not heat-up because of the high amps of the battery ?

I assume you understand how to Read Analog Voltage up to 5V?

Use a Voltage Divider (2 resistors) to knock-down the voltage. The resistor values should probably sum-up to around 100K Ohms so they don't consume too much power and overheat.

will it not heat-up because of the high amps of the battery ?

Current (Amps) = Voltage/Resistance (Ohm's Law). That's the current through the resistors. (You can have additional current flowing through other circuitry at the same time.)

And power (Watts) = Voltage x Current.
