I have a reed switch that sends signal to a led counter and calculates distances, I am trying go measure distance with feet, I need some kind of device that converts or can be in equal increments of 0,1,2 feet on the display, my reed switch measures when the magnets touch, is their a device or even a counter I can buy that converts to equal increments of 1,2,3,4. Thanks

Since you are posting this on an Ardiuno forum, can you tell us if you are using an Adruino and can you show us the code you are using?

A drawing of the electrical connections would also help.
