I use the "Reference" page and I needed the syntax for "function"

I enjoy the positive atmosphere and community sharing of the Arduino.

I use a locally stored copy of the Arduino "Reference" page as the place I can read the correct syntax for various program statements.

In the last few days I have been cleaning up my sketch for logging temperatures in my house.

I needed a fully written out syntax and example for a function(){ ...}.

There is no function() definition on the "Reference" page with a url of arduino.cc/en/Reference/HomePage

I appreciate the high quality writing of the "Reference" page and many other pages on the Arduino.cc website.

My compliments to the writers: Thank you for many carefully written fine statements.

The Reference page is primarily for functions that have special meaning on the Arduino. The digitalWrite() function, for instance, has no use on a PC.

Developing functions for a C/C++ program on the Arduino and for a PC is exactly the same. The Reference page is no substitute for a good C book. Get one.
