I wanna focus WIFI signal in to a one singal point

I can use directional antenna but i wanna focus more and more, what i can do?
Does inserting a metal tube in to the omino directional antena going to help?
Or any possible way to focus the wifi signal strength to a singal point?
Thank you....

You need to select a directional antenna with a higher gain. The higher the gain, the more focused the signal beam.

Yagi antenna have high gain, as do some antenna made from tubes. RF antenna design is a precise science. You cannot put some other antenna inside a tube and expect it to work as you want.

You can stack yagis to increase gain and directivity

I am sorry, this is maybe a dumb idea, lets say i just wanna focus wifi in to a single point, like a laser beam,
Is that possible?
Is they're any way to achive this?
I may use esp8266 or esp32

If you mean "parallel"

If you mean "focus"

No, not for a wifi signal.

can you explain it a bit more please....

Maybe explain to the forum what it is you are actually trying to do ?

Are you asking me or @xfpd

The best way to achieve what you are wanting is to use a highly directional antenna known as a coaxial cable. Use of such an antenna provides an extremely high coefficient of directionality with almost no signal leakage on the side lobes.

Yes, you can modify a large satellite dish or you can build an antenna using a metal coffee can. How much experience do you have in building things?

A quick Google search for "coffee can antenna" immediately bought up a video of making a WIFI antenna using a coffee can. Perfect for your project.

I read some time ago you can direct WiFi using a Pringles tube (or similar) I don't recall any detail to speak of. You will have to google some.

Since WIFI is a two-way communications using radio frequencies, what actual use would a focus to a single point have? A single point cannot radiate RF back to the focused source.

OK, you got me, there is a thing called a MASER.
It works like a LASER but works for microwaves (WiFi).
Let us know when you have one working.

To enhance the focus of a WiFi signal into a single point, you can explore a few options:

  1. Directional Antenna:
  • Consider using a higher-gain directional antenna. These antennas concentrate the signal in a specific direction, improving range and focus.
  1. Parabolic Reflector:
  • Attach a parabolic reflector to the directional antenna. This can further concentrate and direct the signal, increasing its focus.
  1. Adjust Antenna Position:
  • Ensure that the directional antenna is accurately pointed toward the desired location. Even slight misalignments can impact signal strength.
  1. Avoid Obstructions:
  • Minimize obstacles between the WiFi source and the target point. Obstructions like walls and other electronic devices can interfere with the signal.
  1. Metal Tube Modification:
  • Inserting a metal tube into an omnidirectional antenna may not significantly enhance focus. However, for directional antennas, you can experiment with reflectors or shields to direct and concentrate the signal.
  1. Power Adjustment:
  • Check if your WiFi router allows you to adjust the transmission power. Increasing power might help in reaching the desired point more effectively.
  1. WiFi Repeater:
  • Consider using a WiFi repeater or range extender strategically placed to amplify the signal towards the specific area of interest.

It's important to note that modifying antennas or devices may void warranties, so proceed with caution. Experiment with these suggestions to find the optimal solution for focusing the WiFi signal on a single point...
