I want to control the cheetah motor with arduino CAN-BUS shield


I am a master-course student in South Korea.

I had bought several MIT cheetah motors from china to make the robot arm.

This motor consists of a BLDC motor, Internal gearbox, and motor driver.

Also, I bought several Arduino CAN-BUS shields to control the motors.

I am trying to control the motor with Arduino, however, It does not work.

Of course, I asked the store how to control the motor with Arduino.


the answer was this: "If there is CAN-BUS shield for Arduino, the motor can be controlled."

I know it is rude, but please help me.

You do know that the CAN buss is for the transfer of data?

Does your motor have a built in can bus receiver and data processor?
