I want to make a rainbowduino but I can't seem to find a schematic for it can anyone help me please? I have more fun when making them myself.

I got a rainbowduino to work using a duemilanove, 8x8 rgb led matrix, 3 x 74hc595's and 8 transistors. I had all the parts anyway if anyone needs any help.
