Can somone tell how to do room mapping with arduino

Do you want the robot to map the room or are you going to supply the robot with a map ?

How does your robot know, with sufficient accuracy, where it is in the room and maybe in which direction it is pointing ?

With a Hexapod I built I used LIDAR to scan and map a room. The hexapod was able to walk around and avoid objects with the LIDAR and some code.

LIDAR is the way to go.

I guess thats a obstacle avoiding bot, but i want to map a room or a house so i can tell my robot to go from one room to another autonomously

RSSI.

Rooms in the house could be described using RSSI. Let's say you are able to receive 4 RSSI signals. In each room the 4 RSSI signals would be unique to the room. Once the rooms RSSI signals are known, now the robot know where to go and can avoid thingies in the way.

Don't you think you should have disclosed that in post#1?

Use a FPV drone cam mounted to the robot.

You could put up transmission beacons.

You could use gps.
