I'm working on a protype machine. Currently using esp32 but open to mega or anything that might work better. Without getting into specifics, I can layout mostly what I'm looking for.
1, read analog sensors (6-10 total)
2, make adjustments to digital output based on sensor readings (2-3)
3.turn on and off relays based on logic (2-3)
4, probably have 3-4 buttons (on/off etc..)
5, connect to Wi-Fi
6, send email if parameters are exceeded
7, log and plot performance every month and email
8, maybe tft screen displaying sensor values in real time.
9, make adjustments to logic or limit parameters remotely.
10, be able to view current performance remotely.
that should cover the bulk of it. might not need all of these.
I have esp32 and a lot of other Arduino stuff on hand. i have already bought the sensors. so, I can provide specifics. i have some experience with Arduino and might be able to complete this project on my own. however, I don't really have the time. i might better do what i do well and hire someone to do what they do well. it will require the signing of an NDA and providing a cost estimate. I'm open to changing anything to make this project easier and better
One more thing. all of the emailing and web interface would be by me and not the customer. even after large scale production. maybe an automatic performance report via email once a month. it's not something that we need to worry about ease of use for the average person.
