I would like to try my hand at creating an RSVP Ebook reader using an OLED

Howdy to the group,

This is my first post and I would like to ask the group for suggestions. I am someone who copies others' projects and builds them, so my coding isn't up to snuff. I enjoy reading books using speed reading apps / RSVP readers. I was doing a search the other day and ran across the following page:

It's a nifty little sketch but I do not like the way the text is displayed on the OLED. They display the world one at a time and the code would get cumbersome.

display.
print(
"Now, ");
display.
display();
delay(3*t);
delay(2*t);
//punctuations get 2t
display.clearDisplay();
display.
setCursor(64-1*w,y);
display.
print(
"is ");
display.
display();
delay(3*t);

What I would like to do is to be able to parse a large paragraph one word at a time, then add the functionality of reading a text file from an SD card. Then eventually add some buttons to enable start,stop, speed up/down, and save place. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. I found this video that shows the concept of reading text from an sd.

Thank you in advance
