PS- I'm looking at the code now to try to understand what was wrong and what you did. Thanks for getting me operational.
Also, I made a couple of changes in the Megaslave code. I think it looks better if all the leds have the same state so I reversed the logic for the MegaSlave so it starts with the LED OFF and when you push the button ALL THREE LEDS come ON together.
Also, since you have a serial port configured, I went ahead and added a serial print in the "else " part of the "if" so that when you start out the Ready prompt prints and waits until you press the button then it prints "1" as long as the button is depressed. It just seems more responsive that way. Obviously that's just bells and whistles because the data has been sent * received already.
