I2C communication stacks

I have found translation from my language as suspended but I think that it is according to job not to communication. On plant I have always used 'stacked' for description of such a situation and it was understandable.

This is an Arduino Forum where discussion is being held using computer jargons/terminologies. Stack is almost a reserved word in Computer Scince, which refers to a "memory block" into which return address of the calling program is stored during a routine/subroutine call. There are many more uses of stack in computer science.
