i2c LCD display not working with arduino 1.5.2

Hi all,

I was working on a home project involving an ebay i2c LCD display 20x4 which was working fine on 1.0.4 Arduino ide.

I lately downloaded and installed arduino ide 1.5.2. The display stopped so I started looking out why.

I tried a simple sketch on an arduino UNO without any luck so I suspected there was something wrong with the new version of the IDE.
When I tried back 1.0.4 everythin was fine

This is my code

#include <LiquidCrystal_I2C.h>
#include <Wire.h>

LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x27,20,4);

void setup() {
  lcd.init();
  lcd.backlight();
  lcd.print("test:");
}

void loop() {
  delay (2000);
}

I am using LiquidCrystal_I2C V2.0

I think i saw some remarks about not all libraries would be available in some recent version.
So maybe check to see if libraries are where they are expected to be.
You could also take those libraries and move them to the new folder (if applicable).
And ofcourse look for even more recent versions/updates.

Thanks Mas3

That must had been the problem. I downloaded the latest lib versions and it seems to work.

thx
