Hi... I'm sorry this is not related to the above question/s at all, I'm new here and don't really know how to use it yet... do you perhaps know how to connect an i2c lcd display with Arduino using python pyfirmata?
@hobinotized94
I have moved your question to its own topic, please do not add new questions to existing topics.
You will find instruction about how to use the forum at the top of every section, so I am a bit puzzled about you not knowing how to use the forum, what was it about the instructions you didn't understand? Please read them.
Thank you.
Like I said, I'm new here so I don't know how to use it yet, what about that did you not understand?
I'm still learning how to navigate the forum and I didn't see the instructions you're talking about. "You will find instruction about how to use the forum at the top of every section" you could have stopped here and moved on with your day.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Maybe you could tell us which of the many of types I2C displays that you have and which Arduino that you have.
Is the question about interfacing a LCD to an Arduino or about using Firmata?
@hobinotized94
Your other post on the same subject has been pointed out to me, I've deleted it. Please do not post the same question multiple times. Now I've pointed out the forum instructions to you you should be able to understand the rules and why we have them. Please follow them.
Thank you.
I'm using a 16x2 lcd display. I want to program an LCD that is connected to an Arduino Mega/Uno using the pyfirmata module on python
Okay, thank you.
Please realize that we cannot see your project so know nothing of the components that you are using, how they are connected, how they are powered or the code that you are running.
Have you connected the LCD and successfully ran examples from the LCD library of your choice.
If so what were the results? What library? Is the interface I2C, 4 bit or 8 bit?
Post a schematic of how the wiring should look.
Post photos showing how the wiring does look.
I know nothing of Firmata, but I can help with the LCD.
