IDE 1.8.19 freezes when saving a sketch

Hello,
When saving a code, the Arduino IDE freezes. Impossible to do anything.
Impossible to close the IDE, from the IDE page.

To close the IDE, I have to go in the "Tasker Manager", and deactivate "JAVA (TS) Platform SE Binary (32bit)
JAVA (TM)....

I uninstalled the IDE and reinstalled, no change.

Please suggest a solution. :frowning:

Bonjour,

:frowning:

Try running the arduino_debug.exe. which is located in the Arduino installation folder, which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\ by default. Depending on the output then you can proceed to the following options:

Additionally, you can try running the portable version of Arduino IDE

Make sure there is no anti-malware blocking the program and that you have admin right permission.

I hope this was useful.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

Hello,
It seems, I found a solution.
I uninstalled the Arduino IDE with REVO Uninstaller, after that, I installed again Arduino IDE.
Uninstalled IDE with Windows uninstaller doesn't run corretly.
I work with the new installation since 1 hour without problem.
