IDE 2.0.2 won't restore sketches on open after Windows reboot but will after manual Quit

Hi, the Arduino IDE 2.0.2, unlike 1.8, doesn't restore sketches on reopen after a Windows reboot (which Windows does without asking to update itself). The problem is that I often have 20+ projects open and every time this happens, I have to open the sketches one by one. Making matters worse, the IDE doesn't remember the list of open programs, so they don't show up in the Recent menu item.

This is not a problem if I Quit the IDE myself. In this case, when I restart the Arduino IDE 2.0, everything works peachy keen. All open programs are restored.

What am I missing? Or was useful functionality dropped? I don't want to downgrade to 1.8 just for this, but I can't be opening 20 programs once a week as that's how often Windows restarts your computer when you're away making a cup of tea.

Thanks, Mahesh

Hi @mahesh2000. Which version of Windows are you using?

I'm not familiar with the exact details of the behavior because I have always disabled the automatic update installation in order to avoid disruption caused by restarts at inappropriate moments. I just conscientiously manage the updates manually soon after they become available.
