Copy it in a text editor and save it ?
Yes I know you can do that … but earlier versions of the IDE you could highlight the text and then “right click” and select “add snippet “
This would then save the snippet of code for future use.
Doesn’t seem to be in the 2.3.2 version of the IDE on a Mac
Hi @wag5659.
Which versions specifically? I am not aware of any such feature.
It is true that the Eclipse Theia IDE framework upon which Arduino IDE 2.x is built has some sort of snippet capability (I don't know the exact details), similar to that of VS Code:
But I think you would only get that in Arduino IDE 2.x if you installed a 3rd party extension.
