I did a quick eyeball of the error messages, and all that I saw complained about a library with a fake name, as in arduino_191503. Just sort the library folder by Name, then select the first and last libraries with a name of arduino_nnnnnn and delete.
Don't worry, you can't mess anything up that is not easily and quickly fixed.
IF you ever get an error saying something.h is missing, just search for that 'something' in the library manager on the left of the screen and install it.
I have been using OneDrive for a while now with no issues. It is all in the way you configure it. I tell the Documents folder to save all the files within to my local SSD. After the initial synch, everytime I modify a file on my SSD a backup is sent to the cloud. OneDrive has strange language and setup, but once figured out it's on auto-pilot.
No, no backup software; I just keep copies on external hard drives.
This was the answer!
I went through my library comparing the apps with the errors in the Arduino Serial Output. One by one I got rid of all the offending rubbish.
Now Adrduione IDE 2.3.2 doesnt offer to update libraries!
I just hope the libraries that remain do the job they were supposed to!
Thanks very much for your help.
(There are just a few libraries which are not easy to come by, such as ESP32MX1508-main.)
Hard to find???? It's where almost all the libraries are HERE
Ok, mark my post that told you that as Solved.
I was mistaken with this. Although Those numbered libraries again - #2 by ptillisch is for IDE 1.x, I think that the same applies to IDE 2.x.
It does not. The occasional installation of libraries under folders with the arduino_<nnnnn>
folder name format is a quirk specific to Arduino IDE 1.x. But Arduino IDE 2.x users might still have these folders present from a previous time when they were using Arduino IDE 1.x.
