IDE doesn't recognise my serial port

I've been trying to upload some code to my arduino for a while now but the IDE doesn't recognise the port I tried every thing the troubleshooting guide said to but it still doesn't work

Maybe add the details of what you have done so far so people do not need to go over them again.

Maybe also add all the other missing items that are mentioned HERE
