IDE License Statement

The Arduino IDE has been flagged up as Unlicensed Software on my employer's annual software audit. I need to start a rather tedious process to have the legal department investigate the terms of the license etc before I will be able to re-install and use the IDE. The first requirement would be to find an actual license text for the IDE itself. I have found many instances of the Sun Java license in the installation folders, but I haven't yet found anything which appears to definitively apply to the installed "package" Could someone point me in the right direction?

Please note that I am interested in the license for the actual software running on my (company owned) PC, not in the license for the hardware or the libraries of the software that will run on the Arduino hardware.

From the FAQ:

The Arduino software is also open-source. The source code for the Java environment is released under the GPL and the C/C++ microcontroller libraries are under the LGPL.
