Hi, is there any way to improve the contrast of the serial monitor text?
I have just found out how to increase the font size, but the contrast (dark grey on white)
is not much fun for this old git!
Preferences:
Light high contrast (ha!)
Font size 14
Interface scale 140%

Try one of the dark themes that is available in Preferences. It changes the whole IDE look and feel to dark but I find it much better

I adjust it on the monitor, mine has a contrast and brightness knobs.
And it adjusts the contrast and brightness of everything

Ooh! You're right! And with the font size the same (14pt) for the editor & the serial monitor,
I guess it's the best I'll get (until Arduino provides different fonts).
I think I had already tried the different themes before, but on my ancient Toshiba.
I now have a new (Samsung) laptop with a really sharp screen.
