I need to install Teensyduino but the version of the IDE available in the Microsoft Store (1.8.4) is not supported.
The Arduino IDE versions supported are 1.8.1, 1.8.5 - 1.8.8.
How can I get one of these installed in Windows 10?
You have two options. The first is to use the IDE installer. The second is to use the .zip version of the IDE.
IDE installer:
- Open the downloads page: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
- Click on "Windows Installer, for Windows XP and up".
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Run the downloaded file.
.zip version:
- Open the downloads page: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
- Click on "Windows ZIP file for non admin install".
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Unzip the downloaded file. You can store the unzipped folder at any convenient location on your computer.
