installed the ide every time I try to load it just crashes wonder if somebody could help me
I get a brief flash of a screen then it disappears

You should know by now with over 330 posts that more info is required.
My Crystal ball is totally pooched.
ok just reloaded it again and it says
Arduino couldn't run because it could not create a folder for your sketch
Nope crystal ball is still pooched...
How about the OS ?
IDE version ?
Etc. Etc.

not sure of the ide version just clicked the latest windows download button installed fine
the latest windows installer
What have you tried so far ? (Just don't want to replicate anything you have tried and waste time)

Ive managed to download it to a windows 10 tablet fine runs and works fine
But it just wont go on my tower
Ive tryed the windows installer, the windows app just deleted them and tryed them a couple of times windows is up to date just cant think of anything else to try?.
Ok ran it as admisinstrator and working fine now, firewall was turned on
