I pulled 3 LCD screens out of some old cordless phones, and would like to get them working.
On the back there are 2 numbers that google doesn't know

it has 11 Pins and I get resistance between some of the pins, so I think it may be a parallel connection, I just dunno how to go about connecting it.
Alas, the odds are pretty good that they wont work with an Arduino (ar least, not easily), because they display was probably controlled at a very low level by the phone's CPU.
Were they just number displays? Or did they display text?
If you post the part numbers off the chips, it might be possible for someone to determine whethe it's Arduino-friendly.

It displayed both, numbers on top, text on the bottom.
only 2 lines.
I'm not sure what chip would have controlled it, as it seems that the one, is covered in black hard plastic or something.
