Identify this 2.5mm connector please?

Hello folks

Base on initial inspection, this photo shows a 2.5mm connector

that has:

  • 6 contacts in total (Looks like the ground has 2 contacts)
  • 1 contact on each side
  • 2 contacts at the back

So could this be a 2.5mm TRRS connector?

Entire photo album can be found here:

Looks like it allows you to use the Polycomm as a speakerphone for your cellphone.

some headphone jacks are switched - when you plug in the headphones, it mechanically switches the circuit to the headphones away from some other circuit (e.g. built-in speakers). To pick an example totally at random, look at http://www.cui.com/Product/Resource/DigiKeyPDF/SJ-356XN_Series.pdf on page 2, right-most schematic.

I would guess it's a standard 3 conductor switched jack, probably with an extra ground lug as pin #6, to me.
