I would like to control this led But have no idea what protocol it speaks. Both the data and power lines read a constant 12 volts on my multimeter when powered in the original circuit.
This came from a Ford car and each led has its own address. This one happens to be 0x21
Too fuzzy for us to have any chance to help you. The camera is focusing on the material underneath the circuit board, that is sharp. You also need to light the chip so that you can read any code numbers printed on both the chips.
But take my advice. Forget these, buy something known.
my guess is ws2812 or ws2811 based as it does not have the 4th (clock) line that the apa102 ones do. but please attempt to take clearer pictures, and verify my guess.
