Idiot proof Arduino & DMX instruction/help?

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, so greetings to all of you from germany!

My problem: in our university we have a project in wich we want to control a moving light with a dmx controller and arduino.
So we got this DMX to PWM converter from tinker.it, but really dont know where to start. I took a look at the heartbeat example wich you can find in the manual, but I think the code is not the problem... It starts with the wiring: all I can find in the example is pin3, but since there are three cables to be connected, we are missing one pin...

So, to cut a long story short: is there any example out there even simpler as the heartbeat example? One wich is... idiot proof?

Thanks in advance!

anyone, plz?

if you want to send dmx from the arduino board to the moving light why do you whant the dmx to pwm converter. you can use the the arduino with the SN75176 as seen in here: Arduino Playground - DMXShield
