Iduino Due, can't find driver

Hello! i got this Arduino Due clone, called Iduino Due and i can't get it to show up as connected on my windows 10 pc.

I think its a driver relateed issue because i get the yellow icon on the device manager when i try to manually set the "arduino due-programming port" drivers under the lpt-com ports.

I get this "code 10 error"

Any help would be much apreciated!

Did you just get it?

No, actually... it was sent to me by error somewhere around 2014 (i buyed a RAMPS from aliexpress and i got this board instead).

And just now im trying to use it.

Did it come with the usb cable that you are currently using with it?

No, i have tried with thwo cables, but both are from recent things...

It's possible that they are charge only cables, what did they come with?

 They both are, they came with bycicle lights. I really need to learn about the types of USB cables...

There you go. Try a cable that you can verify works with another Arduino and you should be good to go.
Enjoy

Hmm the only arduino that i got working uses that big USB type 2, but this board comes with a small port that i can't identify yet. Anyhow, i will keep trying different cables!

Very good.
If you cannot find a working one, order a data/sync cable with the correct ends.

If it's a due clone try just using official due drivers.

Usually micro-USB or mini-USB. If your phone has the same connector, try the cable that came with your phone.

I can verify it was the cable, now i just uploaded the blink and the board is working.

I was'nt aware of the difference between "charge only" cables and "data transfer" ones, now i know that the charge only are cheaper to manufacture because they come with two less wires!

And yes, once i used the correct cable, the board was recognized immediately. It uses a "Micro-B" type... that needs to be a data transfer cable

Thanks to everyone!

Why bump a two month old thread that has been solved?

Useful link
