Hi everybody
Does someone has an answer on the question:
why is there a special ILI9341 for Arduino, a special SD Card reader for Arduino or Wemos.
A standerd ILI9341 or SD card Reader (and so on) does not work on the Arduino and also the special ones for Arduino does not work with a Microprocessor.
I'm curious to know.
Bye Ptr
An Arduino will work just about any ILI9341 display and SD card interface.
Which ones do you think are "special"? Post links.
I ask You the same. Without links to the datasheets it's impossible to tell.
I'll give you an answer, you likely will not like it: marketing.
Marketing in the world of the Internet, means "Google" which means key-word matching. So, outlets for parts will simply use specific key words in part descriptions to increase sales.
Additionally, houses and outlets such as Adafruit actually buy bulk parts, verify the physical and electricial properties, and sell them with support software guaranteed to be compatible. Of course, nothing is free, so these parts have a higher price: the purchaser must decide if the guaranteed part is a better purchase for their use or if untested imports from questionable sources meets their needs.
