ILI9486 TFT 3.5 UNO shield touch input button

hi all
i have ILI9486 TFT 3.5 UNO shield with touch and i would like to have multiple buttons or shaps on it to input an int
for example red square if pressed red square it inputs int 1 and the blue if touched it will input 2 and so on

there is a sketch was on banggod having a sketch named phonecall,it has multiple buttons as the keypad of the phone but it is not working well

Do u know any suggestion for that?

any help?

Can you clarify in what way the phonecal sketch wasn’t “working well”?

That particular sketch is based on a 4-wire resistive display, so it may require calibration (the TS_MIN/MAX/X/Y) in order for your touch presses to line up to the visual buttons. Do you find that the touches don’t respond at all (anywhere), or that they appear to trigger buttons elsewhere on the keypad?

mestek86 asked the same question on the main MCUFRIEND_kbv thread #2607.

I posted a complete sketch at 13.00 GMT on Wednesday in #2608

I would be happy to help with any problems. But first of all, the OP needs to read the replies to her questions.

David.

it shows repeated output, not responding in some cases ,did not make the delete function ,so it is not reliable at all
