iMac computer shorts my arduino

I got a 2008 mac in my lab to play with arduino IDE installation etc. I didn't realize the computer stand was metallic. So I shouted out my arduino on the stand. Nothing bad (polyfuse protected the circuit). Just practice caution if you have an iMac. I should probably put tape over its stand to prevent future short circuiting.

For those experienced with macs, I appreciate if you can help me with these:

  1. How to switch between different arduino windows? I found the cmd + tab only goes between different programs and doesn't treat windows in the same program as separate.

  2. How do you dock windows on left/right on a mac (or is there)? I found it very hard to switch between arduino windows to copy paste code without window switching and/or docking.

  3. When you max a window with the green circle with double arrow button, the red yellow green buttons are gone, how do you return to normal window?

I like the window/menu snapping feature of a mac for screen shots. It's better than the windows snipping tools but without tabbing between windows, I found a mac just impossible to use efficiently. I found out I can right click the icon on the dock to show a list of arduino sketch windows but that's taking my hand off keyboard and doing a few clicks. There must be some shortcuts for docking and window switching I don't know.
