Image JPG to HEX converter issue

Hi all !
I'm struggling with the hex code of an image.
Target : display on a 480x320 TFT screen , plugged on a Mega 2560, of a small image (75x75 pix).

The problem: i'm using this online converter :

A 75x75 image is pretty small. Even if you use an array of raw pixels.
e.g. 75x75 16-bit pixels = 11250 bytes.

You can either convert the JPG to an array of raw pixels.
Or you can decode the original JPG (if you have something with more than 2kB of SRAM like a MEGA2560)

In practice it is simpler to just create the pixel array as you have done. But you still have to tell "GFX" what the dimensions are.
It is very unlikely that your array is 45 x 37. Especially when you talk about 75 x 75 pix. And your pixel array says Image Size : 78x77 pixels

From Adafruit_GFX.h you will be using this method:

  void drawRGBBitmap(int16_t x, int16_t y, const uint16_t bitmap[], int16_t w, int16_t h);

Use the correct w and h and everything should look fine.

Be careful using unsigned short instead of uint8_t, the processor on the Mega is little-endian, storing the lower 8 bits of the short at the lower memory address, and the upper 8 bits at the next sequential memory address. As an example, 0xEF7D, 0xDEFB will be stored as 0x7D, 0xEF, 0xFB, oxDE.

Disregard, you appear to be using an RGB display that needs the 565 format in a 16-bit unsigned short.

Are two of the numbers passed to drawRGBBitmap() supposed to be the image width and height?

Your image appears to be black and white. Why are there so many pixels that are not 0x0000 or 0xFFFF?

The original JPEG is anti-aliased. i.e. edge pixels are different shades of gray.

This makes the "full-colour" image look nicely rounded.
Otherwise the "monochrome" image looks blocky.

You can put the original JPEG into Irfanview. Reduce to two colours (black / white).
Then create the C array of pixel values (0x0000 / 0xFFFF)

Compare the "look" of anti-aliased versus true-monochrome.
