Image to LED matrix

Is there a library that can take an image file, and convert it into individual LED values (RGB) to then drive a LED matrix? Alternatively, since I already have a PHP program written that does this, is there a way to have it output those RGB values (per pixel) to an Arduino which then drives a matrix? Any suggestions here?

Hi KirASH, I have seen no library so far, hope someone will come with the library for us...I have recently completed the software that convert image file into binay code and then send data to the water fall. How big of an image are you thinking of? Keep in mind that the Arduino has very limited SRAM. So doing this in real-time may not be feasible.

[/quote]Well, for starters, something small, maybe a grid of 4x4 LED matrices (each 64 LEDs) and maybe at some later time scale it up. The Arduino is only going to be used to passed data to the individual controllers for each matrix (section). The image processing is being done elsewhere and data sent to the Arduino, which in turn sends it to where it needs to go. I’m still trying to figure out the scope of this project.
