immediate avrdude error when uploading

This happens when I upload the blink sketch

Arduino: 1.8.13 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino Uno"

Sketch uses 924 bytes (2%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.

Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

I have had this happen to 4 arduinos: 2 real nanos, one knockoff uno and one real uno. They work perfectly fine for two weeks and then suddenly they crash and I can't communicate with them anymore.
Checked my drivers, tried another computer, tried another cable, tried hitting the reset button before uploading, reinstalling the IDE. Loopback test fails but I may have been doing it wrong, when I type, nothing gets displayed and the rx light flashes, but tx doesn't, even though they are connected. I've been working on a project for a few months and my setback keeps being that the arduino crashes out for some reason, even when I'm only using like 60% dynamic memory and storage space each, and I am sick of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
